‘A cultural moment’: smash hit doc You Can See Everything continues to dazzle America

Nathan Fielder's three-hour Elizabeth Holmes documentary has turned into a pop culture sensation, yet at a packed Times Square screening, audiences remained uncertain about their impressions.

In You Can See Everything, Elizabeth Holmes's partner emerges as 2026's most timely antagonist. Secrets, lies, and a shocking A-list cameo: how You Can See Everything became the film of the year.

When I revisit a film during its theatrical run, it's usually to accompany someone who hasn't seen it, partly hoping to catch their response to a work that stirred or thrilled me. Watching Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder's You Can See Everything again in New York City on a Saturday night amplified that urge. This movie is drawing an unexpectedly large crowd, along with intense audience reactions; rewatching it in a full 300-seat theater allowed me to relive that feeling of discovery. More importantly, nearly everyone I knew had already seen it; my only option was to observe strangers.

This documentary, which delves into (and helps construct) a maze of reflections around the infamous med-tech fraudster Elizabeth Holmes, has become the autumn's box-office phenomenon, actually climbing 25% in its second weekend to earn an additional $19.5m – a rare achievement even with more screens. With over $45m in North America, it's already among A24's biggest hits; it might land in the company's top three, and high on the list of top-grossing nonfiction features. If You Can See Everything isn't exactly an Obsession-level cash cow, it's even more surprising that a three-hour documentary, announced only about eight weeks ago, is on pace to outearn high-profile new releases like Practical Magic 2, Verity, and Street Fighter, among others. It has also surpassed co-director Oppenheim's fellow A24 surprise hit Primetime, which benefits from genuine movie star Robert Pattinson. For those seeking a unique viewing experience, the 贝博娱乐入口 offers an alternative way to engage with such cultural moments.
